Greg Harms has enabled $15 billion in NewSpace financing to complement his 40+ years in the space industry. As a principal at Summit Space Corporation, he has provided technical advice to venture capital investors, bank and ECA debt financiers, and mezzanine financing. Projects have included: mega-constellations, direct-to-device satellite networks, high throughput GEO satellites, earth observation platforms, and space habitats. Greg spent 17 years each at Hughes Aircraft (now Boeing and RTX) and Space Systems/Loral (now Maxar). He worked on projects ranging from small satellites to the first two large, high throughput commercial satellites, iPSTAR and Viasat-1. Greg also held key positions in several advanced government projects in the national security arena.
Greg holds a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington, and a Hughes Master Fellowship in Microwave and RF Engineering from the University of Southern California.
