David Mitlyng is the CEO of Xairos, a space startup building the first global timing service via quantum communications on satellites to provide more accurate timing and location data for all networks. David has three decades of experience in the space, optical, and quantum industries, including Hughes Space and Communications, Orbital, Maxar, BridgeComm, and SpeQtral.

David has a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal Poly SLO, a MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
